About LemusART and Sam Haughey

The concept for LemusART was thought up sometime during 2007.

The name "lemusart" uses a combination of the letters of my first name Samuel and the word: Art.

After discovering the world wide web at High School seven years ago I quickly developed a basic set of coding and graphic design skills, which combined with my huge interest in all things computer, started me down the track of web design. Even when I was living at home, I was forever playing with different bits of codes of my budget 300mhz PII system.

My first website was made purely out of boredom and featured a page of text with photos of me and friends. Over time that same site was, and still is, used to test new code and features before it reaches the web.I first launched this site in early 2008 with the hope of instantly becoming a web designer to be reckoned with. Not long after, reality hit. Although I had picked up my first few ‘jobs’, I quickly realised that in order to attract more work I needed to work with clients on a personal level and provide a fast, easy to use service worthy of recommendation to others. Three years later that same principal applies to all of my work.

Outside of my web design efforts I enjoy spending my time surfing the net, gaming, playing guitar, creating music, working on cars, and most recently building a stockcar.
